Looks very nice ! Don’t know why, but I want to pick the shell with Pikmins :')

I agree with you that it sometimes gives wrong answers. But most of the time, it can help better than StackOverflow, especially with simple problems. I mean, there wouldn’t be such an exodus from StackOverflow if ChatGPT answers were so bad right ?
But, for very specific subjects or bizarre situations, it obviously cannot replace SO.
Cloaks are awesome !
I’m quite glad that it’s becoming way easier to play on the steam deck !
I’m playing Overboard, it’s basically a “How to get away with murder” game. It’s very fun !
For a research project, I’m currently looking into open-source GitHub Copilot alternatives and monitoring options. As someone else already said, you can use the FauxPilot self-hosted backend. It works pretty well, but you have to host it yourself. You can use this backend with a frontend extension, such as the official GitHub Copilot plugin (with telemetry disabled) or with the FauxPilot VSCode extension. However, I found that the FauxPilot extension is very lackluster in terms of features compared to the official extension (On top of my head, it does not have any caching mechanism, nor does it cancels the requests already made if you continue typing (they just pile up), and does not have any sort of filter for the completions. All of these lead to way too many generations being requested from the model.
TL;DR : If you want to use the GitHub Copilot extension, without GitHub looking over your shoulder, you can use the FauxPilot backend and opt-out of the telemetry from VSCode/Copilot (I don’t know which one needs to be disabled) (or do as I did for research purposes, and change the telemetry url in the source code to a localhost one).
Thanks ! :D
Is it the same in Europe ? I feel like with the different regulations, they might also get sued there.
I completely agree with you. That’s why I never managed to stick to BR games :/ Whereas with other genres of shooter games, I have no issue with. It’s just sad for me to see a trend of shooter becoming more “Battle Royal-ee” (which from a business standpoint makes sense), because it’s simply less games to play. Hopefully, there’s still a lot out there !
I simply think they won’t care much about it, as it seems from the requirements :/
I wonder what would be the difference in environmental footprint between the two types of chargers. According to this article it seems okay-ish compared to classical chargers, but more sources would be needed for me to form an opinion on the matter.
Anyhow, these new chargers look neat
I find it so cute how he cluelessly wants to have a mirror on the website. It reminds me of people wanting to download more RAM or store Wi-Fi in a box for later usage.
It seems practical enough for mails that seem uselessly verbose. But eh, then the issue is why do you have to write all the “boring emails” in the first place ? Why are they so boring that you need an AI to write them for you ?
They’re going to have a tough time doing that if they continue to follow the Ubisoft open-world formula :/
I think it might be a good anti-piracy measure. But it’s really sad for the accessibility of these games as a whole, especially when it is possible to play the game without any online features.
I’m a big fan of the Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch ability to simply turn into sleep mode, which allows me to pause very easily games. But I guess that’s not possible with online games :/
I think it’s one of the best puzzles I’ve ever seen in video games, that along with the main puzzle of the game. It’s so nice the developers added the Quantum moon plot, when it’s not even necessary to finish the game
I agree, it’s quite an experience to have to do that. And just imagine doing it to yourself, or imagining what the owls of the world felt like.
Understanding how to navigate this planet is really cool !
Overwatering killed a lot of my house plants. But once i started using an app to remind me of when to water and drained the water using clay balls, they suddenly stopped dying!
