I just want something easy and painless for self-hosting, not wrangling tons of YAML to get an nginx proxy to point to the services I have to manually setup requiring more YAML and more hand-configuration. And then I still have to think about backups, and honeypots, and logs, and and and and.

Plus they don’t want to have to host their own datacenter, worry about physical security, or network issues, or setting up physically in another country, and a bunch of other stuff. The cloud is supposed to be easier, but because there are so many customers with so many different usecases, shit becomes complicated.
