y’all peel your bananas? wtf
Of course! Or do you eat the inside too?
All the nutrients are in the skin!
On the other hand…
Those bananas in the bottom pic definitely look edible to me. They taste better slightly overripe too.
i kinda like green-ish ones, “bad” ones are also fine (still fully edible, even the black parts)
On the other hand:
Banana Bread 🍌🍞
It’s a very appealing fruit.
Do you think bananas are sexy?
Yes and so r u
I love bananas, but recently I became allergic. Seems related to my longstanding latex allergy. It’s too bad.
Not to be a part of the anti-banana conspiracy (that’d be crazy yall) but yall realize JUST HOW RADIOACTIVE BANANAS ARE COMPARED TO OTHER FRUIT LIKE TOMATOES ITS NOT A CONSPIRACY THEYRE TRYIN TO KILL US ALL VIA BANANAS
SHEEPLE WAKE UP FFS
Aren’t humans much more radioactive than bananas
Are you eating humans???
I just skip the humans altogether and eat the radiation. Not as fattening.
Mmmmmmm… radioactivity…
I hate them. Can’t stand the texture, and the flavor isn’t even good. Like eating a soggy pasty log
No same. I eat them right before the last of the green goes away and it’s much more pleasant.
the texture is so inconsistent
Unfortunately, also going extinct if we don’t play our cards right. All crop bananas are monocultures, basically clones, and there is a strain of fungus that has adapted to infect them with near 100% mortality rate. A single speck of contaminated soil can destroy an entire field, and it is only aggravated by the effects of climate change which are already devastating food production in general. In fact, we’ve already lost one banana cultivar to another very similar fungus. Commenting not to be a downer but to raise awareness of this active and serious issue. Bananas are a staple crop that many people depend on to survive, both economically and directly as a source of food. Programs are underway to save them but success is far from guaranteed.
Doesn’t make a mess during consumption? Tell that to my 2 year old…
Found the Yiga.
[small piano riff]
[captivating battle music starts]
Found today that our goats like to eat the peel.

They also fit nicely in my asshole.
can also be used to substitute eggs in baking!
Fun fact: Artificial banana flavoring became popular in the US a decade before fresh bananas were readily available.

I will never try the tasty bananas.
The only bananas I will ever eat were thought of as trash by the people that got to eat the tasty bananas.
The closest I will ever come is the artificial flavor in the runtz candy bananas.
the artificial flavor in the runtz candy bananas
Long live the gros michel.
I knew they had a more official name than “tasty banana” but I couldn’t think of it, thank
