Is Batman really helping the poor or is he just in an endless loop of revenge where he keeps beating up and tormenting killers of his parents.

Well also, Batman was created in the 1940s before Instagram or the Internet existed.

It would be like saying “In the Wizard of Oz, why didn’t Dorathy just get an Uber?”

I know some ultra-marathoners, people who work extremely hard at heights, skateboarders/parkour…ist?/rock climbers, and one semi-pro soccer player who has a vertical leap that is unreal. Their connection is that none of them have social media(I dont count lemmy and do count 🦣). They are all capable of some amazing things that make you rethink humanity a bit. None of them look like instagram models, but I would argue that they are all more fit than the insta model crowd. I wouldn’t be inclined to bet on the models in a 1v1 fight either.

TLDR: I think the batman bit is more realistic

Batman doesn’t like guns but grenades and missiles are fine.

Beats up the mentally ill instead of getting them the help they need. Imagine the chemical breakthroughs The Joker could make if he was mentally stable.

Admittedly, Bill Gates has done pretty well at helping the most needy. But I imagine he’s the exception that proves the rule.

Probably tried fighting crime first but got wedgied by the first mugger he met and settled for saving and/or educating millions of African children

If Bill Gates truly wanted to help the poor he would have sent my hungry ass a pizza but has he? No! Selfish bastard

Nah my landlord is a saint. No theft here. None other than me wondering how feasible it is to steal from a pizzeria.

Listen I am starving. Sue me

      spoiler

The problem with even Gates is the lack of democratic control of how his money gets used. If he just decided tk cut the line one day and go fill send on megayachts, nobody would be able to do jack to say no to that.
