Musk was randomly accusing people of being a pedo YEARS before the cybertruck was released. No sympathy. User error for agreeing to that contract.

I feel sorry for the people who bought a cybertruck ignorantly without knowing anything about Elon Musk. However, how would that be possible in this day and age?

Sounds like their fault for being stupid enough to buy something you aren’t allowed to sell for a year.

    That’s a red flag.

Even forgetting the Nazism and Musk, those things should be vandalized for being offensive to my fucking eyes. For being a bad product. For being a dangerous product.

99% of these bozos bought the thing based on identity. Statistically the CT is proving to be one of the worst put together EV’s in automotive history. Silicon Valley and the techbros have been playing supremacy games for 25 years. So what if just now the hammer drops. They played sycophant, and didn’t want to hear the left’s warnings.

    I do feel bad, yeah.

Having bad taste in vehicles and too much money to spend on stupid things doesn’t really warrant destruction of property. Being mostly unaware of the political statements of a CEO (which, at the time of the Cybertruck’s release or when people were ordering it he wasn’t nearly as deep into this crap as he is now) isn’t really a crime either…

    Well…

Let me clear this up for you if it helps. I fully support any and all efforts people took to sabotage anyone related to NSDAP during the 30s and 40s. Both property damage and assassinations.

I don’t encourage it, but having some familiarity with what it’s like to be minding my own business at a good job only to have Elon swoop in and fuck everything up, I understand.

This is the product of powerlessness. Rich people can come in and fuck up your life at any time. And seeking revenge would be futile. But people still want to do it, so they do the next closest thing.

    A bit, yeah.

By and large the market for the Tesla cybertruck is going to be people with more money than sense. Those people I can’t really have any sympathy for. My advice to them is to park the truck in your garage and drive literally anything else that you own from what is sure to be a selection of different cars.

For those that purchased a CT at the end of their finances, and could only barely afford to justify it, I feel for them. They can’t easily buy something else to drive, and the contract forbids them from selling anytime soon. They put in their orders long before Musk was actively demonstrating how much of a shit head he really is. These people are just regular folks who wanted a truck, bought the Tesla branded sales pitch, and thought it was a good investment over alternatives like rivian. IMO, they’re victims just as much as the government employees that used to work in DEIA departments, and USAID.

Then people are taking out their frustration and causing material harm to those duped by the world’s richest man… Double jeopardy.

None of what Elon did is their fault. People are causing them material harm. You’re not hurting Elon with these shenanigans, and you don’t know that the person who is suffering is a part of the same club that Elon is. Err on the safe side and leave people’s property alone, please.

I don’t like Elon, and I don’t like Tesla. I have no sympathy for either if they go down in flames. I do, however, feel bad for all those who are being materially harmed by all this horse shit. They didn’t ask for this, they just wanted an electric car that goes vroom on batteries.

I’d argue that the ultimate cost of these shenanigans is, in fact borne by Tesla and therefore the Nazibro that owns the most shares.

People are put off driving and owning one because they worry about it getting trashed means less sell, and the share price falls.

Side-effect of hurting the fee-fees and finances of the pompous arseholes that bought that stupid shit in the first place?

      Awesome.

I look at it this way. There are a lot of people being harmed by Musk’s actions that didn’t choose to put themselves in harm’s way. That is not these people. I reserve my sympathy for those that had no hand in getting fucked over by a billionaire. People who either chose to put themselves in harm’s way and those that chose to ignore all of the signs that they were putting themselves in harm’s way can get in fucking line.

Leon prominently threw in with the nazis a couple months before the CT started shipping. People so thoroughly ignoring politics and red flags until they themselves are hurt is precisely why we’re in this whole mess. Why are you carrying water for them, when of all the people that have been hurt by all this they are among the people who had it best until now and had the clearest warning signs to date?

These aren’t commuter cars, or work vehicles, there is no practical reason to own one. They are a status symbol of musks politics. The venn diagram of people who own these and wear maga hats is essentially a single circle. There is a daily growing number of struggling american families who deserve sympathy and almost every one of the folks who paid six figures of disposable income for the opportunity to support musks politics are not victims.

Also I think trump and maga are stupid.
