It might not, I remember having imitation “stage” cigarettes a while ago and they just had powder inside a tube and still looked semi believable from more than a few feet away

I know the policies that Chevron has. You cannot enter the premises with even so much as a phone. Lithium batteries can and do explode. Vape cigarettes are no exception.

If someone wants to consume nicotine on the premises, they have to use chewing tobacco or dip.

      No exceptions, period.

They’re saying some fake cigarettes don’t have batteries at all. Someone below mentions one with orange foil at the end to make it look like it’s glowing.

I get that, yes. I also wouldn’t bother buying such a thing at all, let alone leave a product review. A kindergartener could make a fake paper cigarette from construction paper and random foil from the dollar store.

The fact that the guy left a product review at all from an online purchase leads me to think it’s an actual vape. Or just a troll post, who knows?

The response is about you saying it wouldn’t be allowed in an o&g facility.

Have you ever heard of OSHA?

Have you ever heard of pulling a prank at work that causes panic? Yeah, Chevron would still fire someone even over a totally fake paper cigarette, just for causing panic.
