As you can see in the screenshot, all it says after pressing the post button is “Please wait. Processing…”. It never ever proceeds past this point, no matter what web browser I use. I’ve tried all the browsers I use: LibreWolf, Mullvad, Floorp, Firefox and Brave. None of them let me post on the community forums. I tried this 2 or 3 days ago too; same problem. Has anyone else run into this issue?
I have no problem on Librewolf. Are you in a country that might be blocked from posting for some reason?
Australia certainly shouldn’t be blocked, and I’m not using a VPN currently either.
It’s a long time now that I don’t post there, but just to confirm, changing browser did you also disable your ad blockers too, as a test?
That means the add-on but alsto the pi-hole (or similar) if you have it on your local net.
I’ve found that lately the usual lists have become quite more aggressive.
I hope you can find a solution!
I didn’t have an ad-blocker on Firefox and it still didn’t work. I decided to disable Ublock Origin on Floorp (a Firefox fork) and it didn’t help anything. All my browsers are on the latest version. I also restarted the system just in case, but still nothing.
… Okay, I just tried posting it from Brave browser on my phone and it worked just fine. Honestly have no idea why it doesn’t work on the PC.
If it works from the phone it must be something PC related, you could try to post and take a look at the browser’s console for any error
It is still probably some domain not getting resolved, it could be at the DNS level (are you using one with block lists integrated?)
You could try changing it to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 for a test, if you are not already using them
That’s a good idea. I gave it a try with another post (because I had another post I wanted to make on GOG) and I do get an error in the console when I press post.
I have no idea what to make of the information though. Do you?
Edit: Oh, this screenshot is in LibreWolf by the way (Firefox), the original screenshot in the post was on Brave Browser (Chromium). I forgot I was using a different browser to the original screenshot.
Might be my speculation but if it’s your first ever post, I think you cannot post links. When I try to post my first thread, same thing happened. After removing the link in the thread, I was able to post.
I’ve not made many posts to GOG overall, but I’ve definitely made posts with links in it before and I’ve been fine.
Everything on the PC is completely up-to-date and I even tried restarting it. I just tested it now, but for some reason I’m able to post this exact post on my phone from the Brave browser.
Maybe this is something related to your ISP for some reason? Was it still your wi-fi or a mobile internet?
I couldn’t remember if I was connected to Wi-Fi or not on the phone when I made the post, so I made another post to another game page on the phone (while connected to Wi-Fi) and it worked just fine.
My PC is also connected to the same Wi-Fi as you’d expect.
What I did notice strangely, is that I can make comments on my PC, I just can’t make posts. When I make a comment, I appear to have the same issue where it endlessly says “Please Wait. Processing…”. Except, if I actually go back to the post I tried to comment on and refresh the page, my comment successfully appears. It just doesn’t work that way when making your own post for some reason.

Someone here suggested I check the browser console for errors. I checked, and I get multiple errors in LibreWolf.
This looks like an error on GOG’s end. Did you try to delete all cookies and cache (for GOG) and try to login again? Ctrl+F5 should do the trick. I would suspect Librewolf’s strict security but since it happens on others as well, it doesn’t seem like the issue here.
