I suppose that’s sensible, we have the same age limit for driving a moped.
personally I think this needs to be enforced in the US too because a lot of stupid ass kids end up in traffic nearly getting hit by cars without a helmet on on those E scooters cuz they’re dumb
True, they shouldn’t be allowed on the roads, but if you required an age limit of 15 for e-scooters why not e-bikes as well?

Because a kid on a regular bike can’t easily go from 0-30mph within a few seconds
Regular bikes don’t have a motor. E-bikes and e-scooters do have a motor. Some regulation on e-bikes may be needed, but regular bikes have been regulated as much as is needed. Maybe a helmet law, but even that seems unnecessary.
Love to see legal responsibility for children. Need more of it.

IDK what country you are from? But most European countries already enforce this for other types of motorized small transport like mopeds. Here (Denmark) a moped requires a license.
We also have speed restrictions on e-bikes, here it’s 25 km/h that is also enforced.I was never into it, but my brother has many stories of escaping police on his moped that could go twice as fast as the legal limit! 😋

There are also periods that are less hectic than others, and then police will go for the lesser stuff.
Most police forces also have systems, where they allocate time to focus on things that are not everyday priority.My guess is that Finish police is as well organized as most other European countries.
