    I’m supporting the idea of Europe defending Greenland with Denmark.

    I would also see as a good thing if they stopped buying US weapons. They are still planning to spend billions on US weapons despite their position on Greenland.

      How about all the amazon, microsoft and Google services they continue to rely on. The US has Europe by their balls.

    With statements such as “The leaders described the United States as “an essential partner in this endeavor.”” I wouldn’t count too much on the EU actually doing anything besides some talk.

      There’s a distinction between policy and diplomacy. If anything they should engage in more indulgent coaxing and shrewd flattery, it’s the only thing that actually works on someone with such a fragile ego. If they came out and basically said, “you’re being a crazy person right now, and we will fight you” he would only do it harder.
