Well, considering that the English title distinctly spells out “Earth Shattering” instead of the more usual “earth-shattering,” could that fact be used to make a better Italian translation?
I honestly don’t know… I haven’t read it all so I don’t know if that missing hyphen is significant or not (could also be a little mistake).
“Devastanti” could also be used if that’s the meaning for E-S; otherwise it could also go the literal route with “spacca terra” but it’s more clunky.
